Bubba Ray originally came to Good Mews after he was abandoned at another vet clinic. His person was boarding him but never came back. He lived at GM for a while but needed a change of scenery. Mr. Tumnis was found as a stray roaming the neighborhood of one of our staff members.
Bubba Ray is very sweet, outgoing and a bit independent. Mr. Tumnis is sweet, quiet and a bit shy. Bubba Ray never had a feline buddy to call his own. Mr. Tumnis was adjusting to indoor clinic life and being a bit scared!
Every night Bubba Ray and Mr. Tumnis went to sleep in the same room. And that is where their lifelong friendship began. Slowly we saw these two hanging around together, sleeping together and even grooming each other. During the day it is not unusual to see them curled up next to one another with Bubba Ray’s arms wrapped around Tumni! It is the cutest thing you’ve ever seen. Since their friendship has blossomed, Mr. Tumnis has some new found confidence. Although still a bit shy, he is becoming more outgoing everyday. It’s not unusual for you to hear him talk when he sits at your feet wanting attention!
Don’t let Bubba Ray’s independent nature fool you. This cat is a true sweetheart. We would like to see their friendship continue to grow in a home of their own! If you are interested in adding two super cute boys to your home, they may be the perfect pair.
